It is with great pleasure that I introduce your January Sullivan West Standout, Mr. Bill Halloran. Mr. Halloran has been with us a short time, just approaching a year, as a Security Guard in our Elementary School.
His nomination read:
“Bill exemplifies kindness, consideration, and a spirit of helpfulness that greatly enriches our school community. Each morning, he brightens the day with his radiant smile, warmly greeting everyone with a cheerful "good morning." He engages with the young children, fostering a sense of joy, and offers words of encouragement to the older students. Bill is always ready to lend a hand whenever help is needed. His unwavering dedication to going above and beyond for others makes him an invaluable asset to our environment. Bill's uplifting presence not only enhances our daily experiences but also inspires us all to embrace a spirit of generosity and support for one another.”
Mr. Halloran previously worked for over 3o years in Corrections. This has been a big change for him. His favorite part of his job is interacting with the students and staff. He often says how much he loves it here.
Outside of school is favorite things to do are fishing with his daughter Morgan, catching ballgames with his son Ryan, and Vacationing and hiking with his wife Barbara. All whom he talks about fondly at work.
