SW Video Club Newscast 3-7-2025 3-7-2025 Newscast Show Transcript hi I'm Evan and welcome to this week's video Club broadcast this week we will be bringing you did you know and we can weather all with me but first the news on Friday March 7th the Elementary report cards will be on the parent portal also the middle school and high school 5-week report will be on the parent portal the elementary family teacher conferences will take place on Wednesday say the 12th from 5 to 8:00 p.m. on the 13th the elementary will dismiss early to have their parent teacher conferences from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Friday the 14th there's no school enjoy your 3-day weekend Monday the 17th all JV and varsity spring Sports we get on the 19th there's a scheduled early dismissal for students there will be a Board of Education meeting on Thursday the 20th at 7 pm in the high school library allow for did you know this week's did you know is about daily savings time don't forget to set your clocks ahead this weekend did you know that Daylight Savings Time started in 1918 as a World War I era measure it was also started to help reduce fuel costs during the first World War also did you know that daylight savings time does not observed and Arizona and Hawaii Hawaii doesn't observe it because of its location near equator since it's so close to the equator the amount of sunlight they get doesn't change much and now for weekend weather on Friday it was going to be partly cloudy with a high of 40 and Gusty winds between 20 and 30 m an hour with occasional guests over 40 miles an hour and the nighttime low will be 27 with wins between 10 and 15 miles per hour Saturday will be a little cooler with the high being only 34 and a low of 22 during the day it'll be sunny with some Cloud intervals winds will be 15 to 25 miles an hour higher wind gusts are possible Saturday night will have mostly clear skies and winds will be 10 to 20 miles an hour Sunday will be warmer with a high of 41 with a mix of clouds and sun early then becoming cloudy later in the day winds 10 to 20 M an hour Sunday night there will be a low of 28 with partly cloudy skies winds will 5 to 10 miles an hour that's all for this broadcast I am Evan and I'll see you next time
