Welcome to the Sullivan West Elementary School, Home of the Bulldogs. We are a community-based school with a preK-6th population of 558 students. At SWE we are committed to providing a nurturing, inspiring, and rigorous school environment with an emphasis on teaching the whole child through art, music, physical fitness and character education. Our small size helps us to facilitate a family atmosphere where all students are valued and get personalized attention.
Thank you to the Elementary PTSO, Kiwanis Club of Callicoon and the First Presbyterian Church in Jeff for donating school supplies for our students.
Kindergarten & Pre-Kindergarten Registration for 2025-2026 School Year
The Sullivan West Central School District will be accepting applications for Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten students starting on April 15, 2025:
- For Pre-Kindergarten your child needs to be 4 years old by December 1, 2025
- For Kindergarten your child needs to be 5 years old by December 1, 2025
Beginning on April 15, please call the school at 845-482-4610 ext. 2158 to make an appointment for Pre-K registration on May 7th and May 14th, and Kindergarten registration on May 21.
You will need to provide the following information:

- Parent/Guardian names
- Mailing address
